VooDoo Doughnuts

We went to VooDoo Doughnuts today! yumm. It is the funniest little place. It is a tiny store and is filled with fun memorabilia. The line wrapped around it and out the door which just goes to show just how awesome all of their doughnuts are. This is a voodoo man and a blueberry :) They also have ones with captain crunch, ones with Oreo's, vegan ones, maple ones filled with cream (so good), and maple bacon bars which are apparently very delicious. These are just some of the ones I remember. But it is such a fun place, I am glad we went.

Crater Lake Weekend

Crater Lake! It is the most beautiful deep blue.



This is a Crater Lake sunrise. We got up at four left the Williams' whom we surprised with a visit. Malinda Chris and family were there along with all of the other Williams clan. It was great to see them all.

Cannon Beach

We went to the coast! Cannon Beach was rather chilly pretty and fun. We actually did more of the touristy thing and walked around the town a bit. It was fun to go into some of the shops and just be near the ocean. I've only been to the ocean a few times so it was great fun. But man the Oregon coast is so cold. I decided to wait on actually getting in.. there will be other times for cold shocks to my system in the Oregon coast. When it's warmer maybe? Does it ever get even slightly warm there? But it was a fun little adventure for Gray and I.

One Month Anniversary

We're starting a blog, or rather I am mostly starting the blog to give me something to do while Gray works and while I eagerly await someone to hire me.

Yesterday was our one month anniversary! Gray is so good to me. He went into work in the morning and came home and surprised me with nut free granola!! two different kinds too. But that's not all he also brought peaches and nectarines (and fruit is my weakness. Pretty good weakness eh?) and delicious and appropriately he also brought red velvet with cream cheese frosting cup cakes. This is the same flavor as our wedding cake, at least two thirds of it. I have the best husband. What's more is this is how he always is.
